Founded in 1979, Groupe Samat can point to 30 years of continuous growth, while remaining an independent family business.
Each decade has marked a decisive step in our development :
1980-1990 : healthy growth in our transport business for chemical products,
1990-2000 : strong advance in the distribution of LPG and industrial gases,
since 2000 : rapid expansion of the distribution of petroleum products.
Focussing on expansion in Europe
Groupe Samat has steadily extended its activity throughout Europe:
1990-2000 : continuous growth outside France that included Benelux, the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal and Germany,
since 2000 : swift development into Central Europe, including Poland, Hungary and Romania.
Today Groupe Samat is successfully reaching out into other sectors such as the automobile and building industries, while pursuing its geographic expansion in Europe.
